A Transparency and Accountability Agency of the Federal Government of Nigeria in a bid to strengthen her procurement functions requires the services of highly motivated procurement professional to fill the position below
Position: Procurement Team Leader.
The Procurement Team Leader will be required to:
Provide strategic leadership to the procurement function of the organization;
Provide overall guidance for strengthening the procurement unit and functions within the organization.
Develop procurement plan to ensure implementation of the organization’s work plan and strategies;
Implement the procurement activities under the procurement plan in accordance with the Public Procurement Act and other standard procurement procedures;
Build the procurement capacity within the organization through on-the-job as well as through formal training;
Provide qualitative support services to the organization’s operations through effective implementation of business policies and procedures governing procurement management & control.
Ensure effective and optimal utilization and allocation of resources of the organization.
- Requirements
- Interested candidates must have a first degree or its equivalent in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Purchasing and supply or any relevant field.
- Candidates should also posses at least 10 (ten) years relevant experience in similar assignment out of which at least five (5) years must be hands-on experience in directly handling/managing procurement activities.
- Possession of professional qualifications like CIPS, COREN, NSE, ICAN and etc will be an added advantage.
