The University
is a private University established by The Church. LAWNA Territory, Nigeria. It has been granted an operational licence by the Federal Government of Nigeria to commence academic activities in September 2011 The University will take off with academic programmes in Three (3) Colleges namely Humanities Sciences and Social Management Sciences. Other programmes are to commence in the second and third phases of the development of the University. They include Postgraduate  programmes. Colleges of Agriculture, Law. Environmental Studies, , Engineering and Medical Sciences.

The BOT of the University is desirous of recruiting visionary and dynamic individuals to
constitute an excellent team of principal officers for the University.

Position:
The Bursar is the  Chief Financial Officer of the University and is directly responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the management of the University finances.

Qualifications
  • The candidate for the post of  Bursar must possess a good degree in Accounting or related disciplines plus any of the following recognized professional qualifications, , ACA, , and  .
  • Membership of a relevant  professional body is a necessary requirement.
  • He or she must have acquired a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualifications  experience, eight(8) of which should be in the  University System.
  • He/she must have served as Deputy Bursar in the  University for  at least  three (3) years
  • The candidate must have  clean and  impeccable records of service and demonstrate evidence of professional competence with high degree of accountability, transparency, and  probity
  • Applicant should be highly computer literate and be conversant with the application of ICT-based accounting packages.

Salary and Conditions of Service
The remuneration and other conditions of service are competitive as with other Nigerian Universities and as may be determined from time to time by the University BOT/Governing Council as appropriate.

Job Objective(s)
