Duties/Responsibilities:
The Integration Engineer Based on the Assignment /purchase order is responsible for integration of the hardware and software in new network/upgrades an existing network in accordance to the customer requirements and Ericsson Integration Process.

Authorities:
The Integration Engineer has the authorities to handle tasks according to the assignment and an agreed scope of work.

Interface:
1.Customer Organization.
2.Network design Engineer.
3.Product Configuration Engineer
4.Ericsson Project manager
5.Ericsson local support (ELS)

Main activities:
1. If requested assist/support during contract/commercial negotiations, in the technical scoping of the Integration service delivery
2. Involvement in Interoperability/Verification activities for competence buildup at GSDC / PDU
3. Undertake any FI (first implementation) of verified new element or functionality, whilst under the guidance of the appropriate supporting
    organization.
4. Interpretation of network rollout/integration plans into detailed level activity schedule for on-site activities
5. Perform pre-integration site checks according to Installed hardware and system requirements to ensure that all the equipment is ready for
    Integration.
  May require an internal (Ericsson only) handover from Installation team to satisfy quality requirements but would not take responsibility for 
  customer Hardware acceptance
6. Ensure that product Configuration Data is available
7. Bring any stand alone hardware into an operational state
8. Use of customer contacts/relationship to communicate and ensure all the required customer prerequisites are in place such as transmission
   and configuration of other equipment.
9. Gather all the required tools, methods and processes, following recommendations/guidelines according to SDI Service Delivery Instruction
10. Through appreciation of the system/network design principles, implement and troubleshoot the configuration of the new elements into the
      system and its interfaces to gain resolution of any problems.
